Either as part of your implementation or standalone, we offer you unparalleled, flexible training options and delivery methods that will have you quickly developing reports and budgets using Prospero’s powerful building block elements.

All training courses are led by MSX Group Certified Instructors, who each bring many years of report design and budgeting experience into the classroom.

MSX Group training classes are primarily offered in the virtual classroom. However, onsite training can be requested. Students can also request a certificate of completion that may be submitted for CPE credit.

Prospero Quick Start Financial Reporting Training

This six hour hands-on training course focuses on rapid report creation to learn MSX Group Prospero. The class is designed to provide users with a broad product overview so they can create reports quickly and easily without significant time commitment. The course provides a strong product foundation by working through multiple financial report creation exercises. In addition, attendees will become comfortable navigating through the financial reporting features of the product and working with report building blocks including lines, columns and trees. Taught from a best practices perspective, this class provides everything a new user needs to become confident and competent working with reports in Prospero.

This Prospero training course is ideal for:

Experienced financial reporting professionals
Microsoft FRx users

This course is offered either as a virtual training course or onsite (upon request). Attendees will receive a training manual and a logon to a specific Prospero Training instance. (The attendee will be required to install the client application locally.) An MSX Group Certified Instructor will lead the class using GoTo Meeting to allow attendees to view the instructor’s screen. While the course is intended to be instructor-led, it can be a self-directed exercise following a brief course orientation. At the completion of this class, attendees can submit a certificate of completion for 5 hours of CPE credit.

Prospero Quick Start Budgeting Training

This six hour hands-on training course focuses on budgeting and forecasting using MSX Group Prospero. The class is designed to provide users with a product overview to create budgets quickly by utilizing Prospero’s reusable building blocks. The course provides a strong product foundation by developing a complex budget from scratch, including capital, human resources, overrides, line items as well as budget data input. Attendees will become comfortable working with product navigation as well as creating budget building blocks including line, column and tree. Taught from a best practices perspective, this class provides everything a new user needs to become confident and competent working with Prospero budgeting.
